Tunipop continues to clear away the clutter, and make it easier for fans to locate the official source of an artist's merchandise on the web. By virtue of the artist's name and official source being listed in our Go2Merch directory, you get top search results for your store. A Google search that includes the preface “Go2Merch” before the artist's name, usually provides a result that takes you directly to the artist's official merchandise store, frequently, but not always bypassing Tunipop altogether.

For instance, try typing “Go2Merch Against Me” into Google, and see what happens. The very first result is Against Me's official merchandise store. In the past, fans would have had to slog through the artist's web site or MySpace page, or sort through thousands of search results to get to the same result. This solves one of the primary issues we identified with merchandise on the web; the lack of a standardized method to locate the official source of an artist’s merchandise.

Of course, all this is predicated on an artist already being listed is in our Go2Merch directly. Admittedly, we have a long way to go, but we have received a lot of attention lately from some of the biggest names in the business, and we are looking forward to some big announcements in this area!  So, stay tuned to Tunipop!
