Great Balls of Fire!

The very first submission to our Go2Merch database was for none other than the veteran piano rocker, Jerry Lee Lewis. Probably not the first artist to come to mind, especially when we are talking about fan gear, but I couldn't have asked for a better artist to launch Tunipop. It shows that merchandise is not just the domain of up-start twenty something bands and artists from the 70's and 80's.

50 years into his recording career, this ground-breaking artist is still going strong. He is also a prime example of leveraging your brand as a recording artist. Jerry Lee continues to reach out to fans old and new alike, with a well-done (and maintained) web and MySpace pages. His fan shop includes a wide selection of merchandise from a Café Press hosted store-front.

I suspect Jerry Lee Lewis could teach younger artists a thing or two, and they would be wise to take note.

Thanks to the folks at Brasstacks Alliance for submitting Jerry Lee Lewis to our database.
